Dedicated to making and riding alaia surfboards. The alaia is a throwback to the origins of ancient Hawaiian surfing. Recently popularized by Tom & Jon Wegener and others, the alaia is a finless wooden surfboard which is not fiberglassed. For more information, contact Tim @ 760-484-1574 or @ thurley814@gmail.com.

Check it out... Bonus clip: "Sit down surfing" - http://www.vimeo.com/26155149 or http://youtu.be/cN06hZYfraw ...Hope you enjoy!
Yeah, that guy is surfing well backside - My experience has been that riding alaias backside is much more difficult than front-side, and not as much fun. He's getting it figured out!
